A CERTIFIED CMMC PROFESSIONAL READINESS CLINIC

Building a sustainable pipeline of over 1,000 cyber-ready Maryland professionals prepared to participate in the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) ecosystem in Maryland, and nationally.

Why Certified CMMC Professionals?

CCPs  help ensure that organizations, particularly those working with the U.S. Department of Defense, comply with cybersecurity standards by assessing security controls, implementing necessary protective measures, and guiding businesses through the process of obtaining a (Level 1, 2, or 3) certification. They identify vulnerabilities, conduct gap analyses, and develop risk mitigation strategies to protect sensitive data. Whether as assessors conducting official evaluations or consultants providing assessment support, their primary role is to strengthen an organization’s cybersecurity posture and ensure compliance with CMMC requirements.

Building the next generation of CMMC professionals

TCecure, LLC, along with partners from the National CyberWatch Center, Prince George’s County Tech Council, Prince George’s County, Microsoft, ISACA, and CyDeploy aim to create a cohort of Certified CMMC Professionals (CCP) in Maryland, providing them with initial training, and pairing them with organizations, such as TCecure, to help prepare organizations for CMMC certification through consulting and implementation services.

In order for Defense Industrial Base (DIB) companies in the state of Maryland to remain competitive for Department of Defense (DoD) business and awards, they must have access to individuals who can prepare them for CMMC certification (consultants and implementers), to CCPs and Certified CMMC Assessors (CCA) who can guide and/or assess them, and to C3PAOs who can certify them.
